David Ellinger
David C. Ellinger, 49, of Columbus, formerly of Lancaster, passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at his residence.
He was born April 13, 1959, in Lancaster. David graduated in 1978 from Lancaster High School, where he enjoyed track and cross-country. He worked at the Columbus Convention Center. David was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. He especially enjoyed listening to music.
David is survived by his mother, Ruth C. (Fred) Ety of Lancaster; sisters, Linda Ellinger of Phoenix, Ariz., Natalie McClelland of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Marilyn (Jeff) Arter of Lancaster; brothers, Victor (Betty) Ellinger of Tempe, Ariz., Tom Ellinger of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews.
His father, Herbert Ellinger, preceded him in death.
Services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sheridan Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Raddatz officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pathways Clubhouse. Sheridan Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
